We are pleased to announce that there will be cash awards this year. Our Best of Show will receive $1,000, Second Place will receive $500 and Third Place will receive $250. Cash award and category winners will be jury exempt in the 2008 show. There will be 180 artists participating in the 2007 festival.

All application materials must be postmarked by June 1, 2007. Applications accepted between June 2 and June 15 will be subject to a late fee of $50. Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance to the Festival will be mailed by July 7, 2007.

POSTER COMPETITION

The 2007 Bethesda Row Arts Festival will be accepting entries for its annual poster competition until May 5. The winning artist will receive $1,000 cash award. All artists are encouraged to submit their designs. All entries should be appropriate for replication on posters, T-shirts and other promotional materials. Congratulations to Joeseph Craig English, our 2006 competition winner!

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
All Entries must be sent as either: original art with a minimum size of 16”w x 24”h and no more than 24”w x 36”h; or in electronic format on CD. All entries must include the name “Bethesda Row Arts Festival 2007”. Any number of colors may be used in the design. All artwork must be original and previously unpublished. Each entry must include the artist's name, address and telephone number adhered to the back of the entry. No more than three designs per artist may be submitted.
Design entries must be postmarked by May 6, 2007 to Bethesda Row Arts Festival, 14803 Southlawn Lane, Suites M&N, Rockville, MD 20850. Posters submitted must include return postage and appropriate mailing material/packages. Entries that do not include postage will not be returned by mail.

JUDGING:
Submissions should be thematically related to the arts festival. The Bethesda Row Arts Festival Management accepts no liability for damaged or lost art works. The winning entry becomes the property of Festival Management. The winning entry may be used for promotional advertising materials and festival related products for sale.
