BRAF allows submission in multiple categories. If invited into the show, you may only exhibit and sell items in the accepted category. You will be asked to remove non-compliant works.
CERAMICS: Original clay and porcelain work other than jewelry. If multiple pieces of the same design are displayed, each must be signed.

DIGITAL ART: Includes any original work in which the original image, or the manipulation of other source material, was executed by the artist using the computer. Work must be in editions, signed and numbered, on archival papers, inks and emulsions.

DRAWING: Work created using dry medium including pencil, chalk, pastel or charcoal, etc. or from fluid mediums like inks and washes applied by pen or brush. A minimum of 75% of work for sale (hanging and in bins) must be originals. Hand-colored reproductions are not considered originals. All work must be clearly labeled as original or reproduction.

DECORATIVE FIBER: Any work created from fiber, including leather and basketry. No machine tooling, machine-screened patterns or other forms of mass productions allowed.

WEARABLE FIBER: Any work created from fiber, including leather. No machine tooling, machine-screened patterns or other forms of mass productions allowed

GLASS: Glasswork that has been handcrafted by glass blowing, molding, casting or kiln-forming. No alterations of pre-fabricated glass objects.

GRAPHICS: Original works created using traditional printmaking methods including block, lithograph, serigraph, etc.

JEWELRY: All jewelry must be entered into this category. NO STRUNG PEARLS OR BEADS. You may only display jewelry if you have been accepted in this category.

METAL: Includes all non-sculptural, non-jewelry works crafted from metals. No production studio work is allowed.

MIXED MEDIA: Two-dimensional work that incorporated more than one type of physical material in their production.

OIL/ACRYLIC: Two-dimensional work created in oils / acrylics. A minimum of 75% of work for sale (hanging and in bins) must be originals. Hand-colored reproductions are not considered originals. All work must be clearly labeled as original or reproduction.

PHOTO: Prints created from the artist's original negative processed by the artist. Prints must be framed to hang on the walls. If prints are in a bin, they must be matted and signed.

SCULPTURE: Three-dimensional work created in any medium.

WATERCOLOR: Creation of a still life, portrait, landscape, abstract or other image on a flat surface with watercolors. A minimum of 75% of work for sale (hanging and in bins) must be originals. Hand-colored reproductions are not considered originals. All work must be clearly labeled as original or reproduction.

WOOD: Original works in wood that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

I create limited edition letterpress prints with handset vintage metal & wood type and hand-carved wood & MDF printing blocks. I print on 100% recycled paper with my antique printing presses (c.1915).
I use a wide variety of materials to create my dioramas. All artworks require a high level of detail work. I often replicate textures and forms using paper, resin, paint, metal and wood.
I create abstract patinas directly on copper using a torch and unique chemical mixtures. The copper's edges are folded at a 90-degree angle, allowing for depth, and can be hung like a canvas.
Decorative wood vessels and platters created through a combination of woodturning, pyrography and hand-dying with India ink to create the illusion of a woven basket from Maple wood.

We incorporate wood and textiles to create luminaries and abstract sculptures using traditional woodwork joinery techniques and textile methods such as dyed, screenprinting, and origami.

I use repurposed fabrics into wall hangings, quilts, and tapestries that honor imperfection; the process of cutting apart, layering, and stitching together mirrors healing and growth.
I create 2D works on paper using a combination of ink, watercolor, and/or gauche to illustrate botanicals and other elements of the natural world that capture a sense connection and evoke memories.
Micro mosaics with handmade glass threads, cut into pieces smaller than a grain of rice, and set with a handmade stucco adhesive, made with pulverized marble and linseed oil. Italian lost art form.
Indvidually designed and crafted ceramic vessels and scultpures which are made by combining and altering thrown and handbuilt forms fired with layers of underglazes and glazes

Alt-process, darkroom photographer focused on B&W analog imaging and classical techniques, aesthetics. My prints are hand-pulled Cyanotypes narrating personal stories, adventures of life on the road.
I create large scale drawings using charcoal, soft pastels, oil stick, and acrylics on wood panel.
My artwork consists of one-of-a-kind textiles, hand-made from silk and cotton, naturally dyed. My products include unique wearables, like jackets, kimonos, shirts, pants as well as shawls and scarves.
